I know truth of this philosophy from personal experience. As a student athlete at San Jose State University, I played offensive line and eventually tipped the scale at over 300 pounds. After my sophomore year, I made a conscious decision to change positions, risking my role as a starter.

Why? For my health AND my performance.

That offseason my WHY motivated me to lose 65 pounds. I showed up to training camp ready not just to play, but start at, a brand new position. And I posted stats beyond anything I achieved as an offensive heavyweight. I figured out how to change my life because my health and my interest in being a better athlete drove me every step of the way. While I no longer play football, my health is still at the top of my WHY list when it comes to my fitness commitment.

But I'm not perfect. I've both gained and lost weight--intentionally and unintentionally. And those experiences help me understand the struggles many people face with their weight and fitness. I always knew I wanted to help people, but that life-changing offseason led me to discover HOW I could help others find their own way to their fit life.

I want to help you find YOUR fit. Today, my clients are my WHYs. My mission is to inspire and motivate those who think a healthy lifestyle is unattainable. Meet Sebastian Zorn, Director of Nutrition Science, Zorn Fitness

I grew up in two places: in the kitchen and on the playing field. I liked to cook because I love to eat, but growing up, I also realized that hard work and natural skill wouldn't let me compete with the level of talent around me in the sports I played. I needed to enhance my fitness with the profound effect of excellent nutrition. I've made the kitchen my secret training weapon ever since.

Since then, I've been fascinated by the impact nutrition has not only on training and physique, but simply on way you feel. I'm dedicated to helping people work with food--not fight with it. As a dietitian that has worked with everyone from a heart transplant patient to professional athletes, I know that eating right is essential to perform and feel great. As a dietitian, I've learned that helping people face their weight and fitness challenges often starts by helping them relearn everything they think they know about food. (Hint: calories are NOT your enemy.)

At Zorn Fitness, I've integrated my holistic, real food approach to nutrition into the Zorn Fitness plan. No extra steps. No special food. No weird stuff. Do his workouts, follow my plan. See what happens only a few weeks later. Then it's your choice: repeat or maintain!
